Hi all!

My name is Maya, and I am starting this personal blog to share my journey into film photography with you.

I have to admit, I am no geek or pro when it comes to techniques and all the technical know-how about cameras. But I love to experiment, try different cameras, lenses and film rolls, and simply see what happens. And this is exactly what I would like to share here.

You will find my personal experiences with the cameras I have tried, the film rolls I have used, and some common as well as lesser-known films and film labs I have discovered along the way.

I hope this blog can help fellow photographers who are looking for references before buying that 60-year-old camera, searching for a new film to try, or are simply curious about the world of film photography.

Of course, everything you find here is based on my own experience and personal selection. But if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I am always happy to support you on your own journey as a film photographer.

So, let’s start with the camera it all started with: the Pentax ME Super.
