Behind the camera

I’m Maya Schuetz, an international wedding, couple, and family and baby photographer originally from Germany and now based in Thailand.

As an English-speaking photographer, I mainly work with international clients who are looking for natural, aesthetic and heartfelt memories during their time in Thailand.

My work is inspired by natural light, quiet details and honest moments. Alongside digital photography, I’m deeply drawn to analog film — its softness, imperfection and timeless feeling. This influence shapes the way I see and capture stories: calm, intentional and full of atmosphere.

I focus on minimalist compositions and natural storytelling, creating images that feel elegant, intimate and true to the moment. Whether it’s a beach wedding, an engagement session, a family story or the first memories with your baby, my goal is to document your connection in an aesthetic and meaningful way.

Rather than chasing perfection, I believe in being present, noticing the small gestures, emotions and details that make your story unique.
